Product Care & Safety

Whether you go Beyond the Ridge or just around the block, a good care routine will make your gear last longer!

• Wash BioThane® with warm water and mild soap as needed.
• Rinse thoroughly after exposure to mud, sand, salt water, or chlorine.
• Allow gear and hardware to dry before storing.
• Avoid harsh chemicals, bleach, and abrasive cleaners.

• Inspect gear before every use for cuts, chewing, excessive wear, loose fasteners, damaged hardware, or other signs of damage.
• Always ensure collars and harnesses are properly fitted and adjusted.
• Our gear is not chew-proof. Do not allow pets to chew on or play with their gear.
• Do not use damaged or excessively worn equipment.
• Supervise pets when appropriate and use each product only for its intended purpose.
• Collars, leashes, and harnesses are not intended for climbing, lifting, fall protection, or unattended tie-outs unless specifically stated otherwise.

Every pet and adventure is different. Owners and handlers are responsible for choosing appropriately sized gear and determining whether a product is suitable for their pet and activity.
